Donna Powers-Amori

My  real estate career began  in October of 1987- Black Monday! Everyone thought it was the absolute worst time to make the transition. I love a challenge. I learned how to accommodate buyers, sellers and renters in their quest for the perfect home.

As a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, and an advocate of  Westchester County, I  feels it is a  privileged to do what I love the   most. That is to introduce people to the wonderful opportunities that living in New Rochelle and its surroundings have to offer.  After all, it is a 20 minute train ride to New York City!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            In May of 2013, I  married my soul mate and moved to Brewster NY. I  now have the benefit of learning Putnam County as well, and am happily expanding my horizons.

I am  the proud Mom of two great young adults that experienced the quality of the New Rochelle school system. I  have  been very involved in promoting the arts within the schools. Lindsay graduated  Iona Cum Laude, and is the Team Leader at Liberty Travel in White Plains. Rich graduated  SUNY New Paltz and is currently pursuing an acting career in NYC.

I have been a part of the team at Better Homes and Garden Rand Realty since 2009.  While the company is relatively  new to Westchester, it has been a very strong influence in the Real Estate community in Rockland, Orange, Dutchess and Sullivan Counties for over 25 years with 25 locations.
